I have been a fan of Salvador Dali since I first saw "Persistence of Memory" in a book as a teenager. Your museum is one of those many places I have on my list to visit one day. Great site. I especially liked the fact that you could have the whole aesthetic experience, music and art as one. Well, thank you for hosting this wonderful collection where anyone can view it.

I just got back from St. Pete, Fl. yesterday on a feild trip. I am in the art club and we went there to see some of Dali's great work and I was wondering what the painting in the beggining part of the tour (next the the lime green wall) is named and who painted it? I recall the tour guide said it wasn't painted by Dali' but by someone else. Well It is the one where you have to look for the woman that is out-lined in pink. Well I would like to an extra credit report on it so it you could...please! please! e-mail me back. Thanx! Nenita

I have been a visitor to your wonderful museum twice, and the second time was even better than the first (if that was possible)! Your tour director, Jennie Gelles, was fabulous, and made me understand the art work of a master whose works I had NEVER been able to understand before the tour! Thank you for a beautiful and fine facility. Everyone should visit the museum when they go to Florida!

I visited the museum a year ago and wanted to purchase a Dali signature pin to wear. I didn't have time that day but I expected that I would revisit the museum and make my purchase. I didn't, and I still want the pin--Why can I not order it over the Internet? Thanks to the docents that made Dali come to life for me. They opened my eyes to true genius.

I visited the museum when I was in highschool. My favorite painting, of any painting is the Hallucinogenic Toreador and nothing could compare to staning there in front of it, it was a slow day and i was the only one in front of that painting and i just stood there for about ten minutes. It's wonderful to see you up on the net. How would i get a print of that? Susan B. Conti

I visited your museum in April and also the one in Figueres a year ago. Dali for me symbolises an excentrique and original lifestyle. It is unbelievable how many works can be made by a man in only one lifetime: only genious can! Sometimes I'd like to live my life a little as he did, but on the other hand that's not the main goal: everybody ought to be him/herself. Congratulations with your museum and your website! See you

I believe that some of Dali's paintings are wild and eccentric. I do love his style though. The madness he brings into his paintings gives him and edge over other artists of his time.

I have admired Dali since Me and my former husband were looking for diferent artist, we had consitered ourselfs as artist then and that is when we ran across a book of Dali's painting's!! we feel inlove right away....but it was the trip to Ohio in 1976 that brought the Artist alive within my heart! We had found there a museum with his painting,as I walked into the large room and stared at the Hallucinogenic Toreador, tears ran down my cheek....my soul had seemed to opened ,and it was then and there when two souls ,The Artist and the Vistor had touched!! If anyone hasn't had a chance to see his work please do,you will not be sorry.Thank you for loveing his work!!!

I visited your museum this June and was overwhelmed. Dali has long been my favorite artist, and I made my family take a break from our vacayion and drive to St. Petersburg. I was very impressed with the tour guides' knowledge on Dali, and discovered in talking to her after her presentation that she had taken several months of classes to learn about Dali. I discoveed your internet sight while looking up information on surrealism for a school research paper. If you have any interesting information on surrealism or know of any good sights, please E-mail me. Thanks.

Howdy from Houston, I enjoyed my visit to the Dali Collection in St. Petersburg. It was great to see the large pieces up-close-and-personal. I'm looking for a replacement of a poster of a Dali piece. I don't know what the title is. I can describe it as a landscape with a large bridge. People are walking on the bridge. One end of the bridge (on the left) is perfectly solid and grounded. The other end is dissolving into nonexistence along with the people at that end. Can you help? My Thanks, D. Lewis

Yes sir, I like it! I think it is well worth the trip. I don't, however think it is likely that many people will take the time to see what I've typed, but thats ok because therapy wurks. All joshing aside, this was pleasant and gave me some great wall paper, wich may be considered a sad statement for an artist...."Hey dude, thanks for the kick ass wallpaper" but I mean no disrespect. Salvidore (if that is in fact how it's spelled) is a very important artist as far as I am concerned. No other artist has displayed so much courage and oddity in such open breaths. I admire him greatly and don't wet my bed anymore.

I am distributor of the dali design collection in germany and therefor a great fan of Salvador Dali and his art. One day (for sure) I will find time to visit the Dali museum in St.Petersburg/FL. In the meantime i listen to all my friends reporting me from the museum. Greetings to Mr. Reynold Morse, we had contact in (about) 1990 or 1991 by fax.

I had visited last december Figeras Museum. Your site is fantastic. Everybody has to visit this museum, everybody will feel a lot of this artist. I was also in Paris in 1981 when Dali made his last exposition at Pompidou Centre (Beaubourg). Thanks for this site.

This site is fantastic, I am a huge Dali fan. however, I was disappointed that some of his better known works aren't pictured here.Even though they aren't for sale, some people are unable to visit museums to see his work. Please show some of these paintings. Especially Swans and elephants. I have a copy of that in my room, I adore it!!!! Thanks for the great site!
